I had one of these beasties startle the bejeezers out of me the other day. Just wan't expecting it.

Green NOT bull frogs

Apparently these are Green Frogs. The tadpoles over wintered which I thought was only a Bull Frog trait. At least if they are Green Frogs, my fish are safer.

These guys trill every spring. They're so good they even attract the neighbors to the pond.

Not sure why he stuck around for a couple of hours on the ground.

Wood Chuck

Though he was not chucking wood. The sunflower sprouts were pretty tasty.

Garter Snake

We've seen this guy around. Mostly on the wood pile or near the pond. He doesn't look to hungry to me.

Brown Recluse?!?!?!

The feistiest spider I've found vs. a Hoover wind-tunnel. Unfortunately the picture does not show "the fiddle" so it's a bit of a guess.
